SATURDAY, September 10, 2022

11 am: Huck Fest Parade ~ Come sit along Steuben St in downtown Bingen between Maple and Willow to watch the entries go past. Then follow it to the park where the fun begins!

 

Noon: Presentation to Betty Barnes from City of Bingen at the Main Stage

 

1:00-2:00 Entertainment: Tillinghast (Folk)

2:15-3:30 Entertainment: Chicken S#!t Gamblers (Hot Bluegrass)

3:45-4:30 Entertainment: Megan Alder & The Woods ~ Hailing from the Columbia River Gorge, Megan Alder is a vocal powerhouse performing upbeat swing and Americana music. She delivers her original songs with raw grit and soul.

Influenced by artists like Billie Holiday and Bonnie Raitt, Alder performs as a solo artist with live loops and kazoo flare. Her latest release, Quittin’ Time, features six original songs recorded live in Portland, OR.

4:45-6:00 Entertainment: Funkanalia ~ Coming to Daubenspeck to get yer booty’z moving with some tasty grooves ranging from the soulful struts of the 1960’s (James Brown), the 80’s Minneapolis sound (Prince), all the way up to newer West Coast trunk bumpers (Anderson. Paak)  So, grab them dancin’ shoes, bring yer friends and come boogie at Huck Fest with us.

6:00-7:00 Entertainment: The Rascos (country)

7:00-8:00 Entertainment: Richie The Reptile Man  (We realize this is late, but the reptiles and Richie do not do well in the heat of the day)

 

8:00-11:00 pm Headliner Band: Fortunate Sons ~ Fortunate Sons are the world’s greatest tribute to America’s greatest band: Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Their country rock twist and southern fried swampum style music captivated all of the retro youth back in the day. Hits like Proud Mary, Born on the Bayou,  Fortunate Son, Have You Ever Seen The Rain, Green River and more are part of the band’s repertoire.

Drawing from influences of rock, pop, blues and soul, Fortunate Sons are a   returning crowd favorite at Huck Fest that gets us on the dance floor.
